Canadian French Plus Keyboard

The Canadian French Plus keyboard driver is an improvement on the standard Windows Canadian French keyboard layout. It does not change any of the standard layout so anyone accustomed to using that layout can use this one easily. However, Canadian French Plus adds other characters that are not available on the standard layout.

The first two diagrams below show the characters produced in the unshifted and shifted modes by both the standard Canadian French and the Canadian French Plus keyboards. The shaded keys near the right-hand edge are dead keys used to enter some accented letters: press and release the dead key first and then press the desired letter key. This might seem counterintuitive to someone not accustomed to the Canadian French keyboard but that's the way the Canadian French keyboard works.

The third diagram below shows the characters produced when either the right Alt key or the left Ctrl and left Alt keys together are pressed. This is a superset of the characters produced by the standard Canadian French keyboard.
