Webscalp configuration

SUMMARY:

Display

Overall Size. Webscalp can toggle between normal or compact size.

Display Position. The display can be left justified, centred, or right justified.

Display Font. The main display can be appear in several different fonts: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10.

Display Type. There are several different types (themes) for the main display: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8.

Display Size. The size of the main display is variable: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10,

Display Format.

Input

The size of the input area is usually 1 line high. When this is so, Enter acts the same as the CALCULATE! button.

The size of the input area can be increased to 5, 10, 15, or 20. In this case, Enter only serves to move to the next line and the CALCULATE! button is required to initiate calculation.

In general, this is set using the INPUT command.


Angle units

Angles for general trig calculations can be in degrees (0–360), radians (0–2π), or mils (0–6400).

Note that for geographical calculations, angles and coordinates are always in degrees.


Polynomial order

The polynomial order can be set to 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9.

The polynomial order is relevant to the POLY, FZ, and DFZ commands.


Tax

Tax1. The percentage can be set to 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, or 15, for example. In general, this can be set to any value using the TAX% command.

Tax2. The percentage can be set to 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, or 15, for example. In general, this can be set to any value using the TAX2% command.


Zoom factor

The zoom factor for maps and satellite images can be set to 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, or 15.


Time offset

The time offset between local time and the Webscalp clock can be set to -12, -11, -10, -9, -8, -7, -6, -5, -4, -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, or 11.

In general, this can be set to any value using the TDIF command. This is relevant to the NOW command.
